Tom Sweeney joined DLC in 2004 as the Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to CEO in 2010. Prior to joining DLC, Tom served as the Vice President of Finance and Senior Financial Officer for a division of ConAgra Foods. Tom started his career at PwC and has held a number of finance and general management positions at Fortune 500 companies including Kraft, Sara Lee and Schering-Plough. He received his Bachelors in Accounting from Notre Dame and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Vice President Human Capital, The DLC Group
Sara Vigeland has over 11 years of experience in Finance and Accounting recruiting, supporting organizations that have ranged in size from the Fortune 1000 to early stage startups. Her ability to recruit the best and most qualified F&A professionals, regardless of level, has helped DLC grow tremendously. Prior to joining DLC, Sara spent five years at Tatum where she held the position of National Recruiting Director supporting the CFO. Before Tatum, she held senior recruiting roles at Corporate DNA, Deloitte, Bank of America and Ameriquest Capital Corporation. Sara holds a dual Bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine in Social Psychology and Criminal Law.
Alexandra Von Tiergarten
Senior Vice President, The DLC Group
Alexandra Von Tiergarten joined The DLC Group management team in November of 2015 as Senior Vice President. She leads the combined DLC and Beacon businesses in the Los Angeles market. Alexandra reports directly to the CEO and has full P&L responsibility for The DLC Group’s largest market.
Alexandra has a demonstrated history of success within the Finance and Accounting professional services space. She has been routinely recognized and awarded for her extensive sales and recruiting experience. Prior to joining DLC, Alexandra was the West Coast Managing Partner for the Finance and Accounting division of the Lucas Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern California.
Chief Financial Officer, The DLC Group
Sarina Kaye has been with DLC since the firm’s inception and now serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Sarina has a strong operational background that spans the finance, accounting, IT and HR functional disciplines. In her current role, she is responsible for financial accounting/reporting, budgeting, system implementations, process documentation and redesign, M&A due diligence support, and post-merger integration. Prior to DLC, Sarina was an independent consultant providing accounting, finance and HR services. She also served for four years as the Executive Director of the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC), where she transformed the NCCC into an international organization. Sarina holds a Bachelors in Finance from California State University, Northridge.
Managing Director, Orange County
Marty McKeever joined DLC in 2003 and serves as the Managing Director of the Orange County, CA market where he is responsible for account management, new business development, talent acquisition and retention, as well as overall management of market performance.
Prior to joining DLC, Marty had 19 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in such companies as Capital Group, Disney and Fluor, Inc.
Marty received his Bachelors in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Managing Director, San Francisco
Rahul Merani joined DLC in 2005 and now serves as the Managing Director for the company’s San Francisco, Silicon Valley and East Bay markets, while maintaining a strategic group of clients in Los Angeles. Rahul covers the Financial Intermediary community for DLC, west of Chicago, which includes working with: Private Equity & Venture Capital Firms, Investment Banks, Turnaround & Restructuring Firms, Lenders, Hedge Funds, Law and CPA Firms. Rahul’s responsibilities include account management, new business development, talent acquisition and retention, as well as overall management of market performance.
Since 2005, Rahul has been actively involved in the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Los Angeles chapter. He has served as a board member since 2011 and currently serves on several committees including; the Private Equity Roundtable and as a founding committee member of the Corporate Executive Forum and Annual Awards Dinner. In addition to the ACG, Rahul is also involved with The Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA).
Prior to joining DLC, Rahul worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their Corporate Finance & Recovery group in the Sydney Australia office.
Rahul graduated with dual majors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS) and has his Masters in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Securities Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
Managing Director, Los Angeles
Patrick Coggins joined DLC in 2013 and now serves as Managing Director for the Los Angeles market, where he is responsible for account management, new business development, talent acquisition and retention, as well as overall management of market performance.
Prior to joining DLC, Patrick worked in public accounting and was a consultant at Monterey Bay Business Advisors in Northern California. He then spent 8 years with Ledgent, a finance and accounting consulting division of Roth Staffing Companies. At Ledgent, Patrick had responsibility for business development, executive search and recruiting.
Patrick sits on the board of a non-profit foundation known as ‘Can Music Save the World’ and serves as DLC’s sponsored representative for the Los Angeles chapter of Financial Executives International.
Patrick received his Bachelors in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Managing Director, Chicago
Kerry Heiple joined DLC in 2012 and now serves as Managing Director for the Chicago market, where she is responsible for new business development, talent acquisition, talent retention and the overall operations of DLC’s Chicago office.
Prior to joining DLC, Kerry spent seven years successfully building and directing the Chicago practice of a competitive consulting firm. Kerry has over 12 years in Big 4 consulting, having led Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence engagements in both Chicago and London, as well as leading the KPMG Chicago Transaction Services’ strategic and PE new business development efforts for several years. Kerry is an Illinois Certified Public Accountant. She started her career in audit, at KPMG in Chicago, where she served clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Manufacturing and Distribution industries.
Kerry received her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
Client Account Director, Chicago
Marcia joined DLC in 2006 and now serves as Client Account Director for the Chicago market, where her responsibilities include consulting as well as sourcing, managing and leading client engagements. She has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience working with both Fortune 500 and privately held businesses concentrated in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consumer and industrial products, education, insurance and financial services. Marcia is a CPA and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Her consulting focus has centered on acquisition integration, due diligence support, purchase accounting, carve outs and divestures, shared services, FP&A, business unit reporting and project management.
Prior to joining DLC, Marcia was Chief Accounting Officer for a GTCR portfolio company where she led the finance and accounting integration related to the purchase of 11 businesses. Marcia began her career in audit at Arthur Andersen and also held finance positions at Kraft Foods and Harley-Davidson Financial Services.
She received her Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, her Masters of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University and her Bachelors degree from DePauw University.
Client Services Director, Chicago
John Barton joined DLC in January, 2014 and now serves as Client Services Director for the Chicago market, where he is responsible for account management and new business development.
John has worked closely with financial executives in the Chicago market for more than 20 years. Prior to joining DLC, John spent 5 years as Vice President of Business Development for The Johnsson Group (Finance and Accounting Consulting), where he led the Chicago-based company in new client sales and revenue. Along with more than 10 years experience in Finance and Accounting consulting, John served as Vice President of Outsourcing for two national accounts receivable management companies. John has served the following industries: Consumer Packaged Goods, Energy, Retail, Real Estate, Technology, Telecommunications, Health Care, Equipment, Transportation, Insurance, Manufacturing, Higher Education and Packaging.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University, John volunteers for multiple organizations including Financial Executives International (FEI), Chicago Chapter.
Client Services Director, Los Angeles
Sonata Taman joined DLC in 2015 and serves as a Client Services Director for the Los Angeles market, where she is responsible for account management and new business development.
Sonata began her career at Procter & Gamble as a SAP Project Manager where she was responsible for the direction of her team through full cycle SAP implementations and upgrades. She furthered her experience as a Project Manager with companies including ExxonMobil and Equity Residential. Sonata ultimately found her niche in business development and joined RHMR where she ranked among the top 25% of sales professionals within her region.
Sonata’s business development expertise and extensive background in project management and system implementations contributes greatly to her success at DLC. She brings award winning sales experience in F&A consulting and account management with a consistent track record of success within Fortune 100 companies.
Sonata earned her Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology where she was Valedictorian. She is also quadrilingual; fluent in English, French and Arabic and proficient in Italian.
Client Services Director, Los Angeles
Erin Cohen joined DLC in 2015 and serves as a Client Services Director for the Los Angeles market, where she is responsible for account management and new business development.
Prior to DLC, Erin was a Director of Business Development with Resources Global (RGP). She has a strong professional services background that includes consulting, interim management and executive search.
Erin has over 15 years of professional services experience within the F&A space including Century Group, RGP and Lucas Group. In addition, she has 7 years of experience as a Practitioner in the Big 4, and also held finance roles within industry. Erin’s business development efforts focus on Fortune 500 clients within multiple verticals including media / entertainment, healthcare, aerospace and defense, and financial services.
Erin is an active member in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) as well as an active presenter and member of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI), LA Chapter.
Erin earned her Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
Client Services Director, Chicago
Marie joined DLC in 2016 and now serves as Client Services Director for the Chicago market. She is responsible for account management and new business development. Marie has over 15 years of finance and accounting management experience. She has worked with both Fortune 500 and privately held businesses concentrated in Consumer Goods, Industrial Products, Retail, and Healthcare industries.
Prior to joining DLC, Marie was a Finance Manager for Roquette America, Sears, Pernod Ricard, and Barry Callebaut. In addition, she played an integral role in the startup of Red Bull where she was involved in creating the finance department from the ground up. Most recently, Marie served as a Resource Manager in which she created staffing solutions for companies specializing in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Industrial Products, Construction, Education, Oil and Gas, as well as Healthcare.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of New Orleans. Outside of the office, Marie volunteers at various organizations, such as Feed My Starving Children, Marklund House for handicapped individuals, and many other organizations.
Client Services Director, Los Angeles
Eric Dandridge joined DLC in 2016 and serves as a Client Services Director for the Los Angeles market. He is responsible for account management and new business development.
Eric began his career as a Financial Analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at Goldman Sachs. He performed extensive valuations and participated in buy-side and sell-side advisory work for Goldman Sachs’s Blue Chip clients. Following graduate school, Eric built on his prior experience in investment banking when he entered the entertainment industry as the Director of Strategic Planning and New Business Development for Motown. In that role, he advised the Chairman and CEO on financial planning and reporting. He spear-headed projects such as Motown’s three year strategic plan, targeting growth through interactive media, film and television, location based entertainment, and ancillary markets. Eric played a similar role for the CFO of Activision where he managed the company’s linear media intellectual properties and devised strategies to exploit its content. In turn, this generated $3M in off-platform revenue. Eric translated this skill-set to the search and staffing industry where he has been a consistent producer of interim, consulting and permanent placement business lines.
Eric has a proven track record of achievement and over 15 years of business experience accumulated in the entertainment, interactive, strategic consulting, and investment banking industries. He brings strong business acumen, entrepreneurial drive, knowledge of the Los Angeles Market, and deep service orientation to DLC.
Eric earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard University. He is active in FENG (Financial Executives Networking Group), ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), and the Harvard Southern California Alumni Association.
