Lisa Groover

Client Services Director

Lisa Groover joined DLC in 2021 as Client Services Director for the Northern California market. In this role she is responsible for account management, business development, and recruitment/retention of her bench consultants. Lisa applies her in-depth knowledge of industry drivers, segment niches, and market trends to help her clients meet their business goals. A tenured service director with over 15 years’ experience, has her finger on the pulse of the Bay Area job market, and has served many companies from Series A to IPO and beyond.

Previously, Lisa worked at Adecco, a $20B public company, and provided staffing support to growing organizations in San Francisco. She specialized in interim, temp-to-hire and direct-hire placement of accounting and corporate finance professionals. A perennial top performer, Lisa also served on the Advisory Board and led company-wide peer group trainings. Lisa served as President of the SF Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (formerly ASWA), created a Financial Literacy program for said organization, and is often a featured guest speaker at networking and CPE-eligible events.

Lisa is a California native and proud “Mama Bear” to her two young children. She earned her BA from UC Berkeley and pursued additional accounting and finance education at the Berkeley Haas School of Business.  She can frequently be found hiking, reading, or on her Peloton.
