Martin Haisma is the Director of Client Engagement for DLC’s Philadelphia market, where he drives revenue growth, leads strategic account management, and ensures every engagement delivers measurable value. A rare blend of sales instinct and deep financial expertise, Martin partners with clients to understand their challenges, architect solutions, and deploy high‑impact consulting teams that exceed expectations.
Martin originally joined DLC as a consultant, bringing more than 15 years of experience across private equity, Fortune 500 environments, multi‑entity operations, and complex financial transformations. His background includes sitting in nearly every seat of the finance organization — Controller, Director of Finance, Interim CFO, PMO lead — giving him a uniquely practical perspective on what clients truly need to succeed.
Before returning to DLC, Martin built and ran his own consulting practice in Wilmington, Delaware, advising PE‑backed companies, multi‑location service groups, and high‑growth operators. His hands‑on experience allows him to quickly diagnose issues, stabilize operations, and guide clients through the financial and operational challenges that come with scale, change, and rapid growth.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Butler University and maintains multiple professional certifications spanning Accounting, Finance, Audit, Technology, and Project Management — reinforcing his ability to bridge technical rigor with business strategy.
Originally from the south side of Chicago, Martin has lived and worked in Austin, Manhattan Beach, and now Wilmington, Delaware. Outside of work, he’s passionate about live music and unique automobiles.
