Steve Fougerousse joined DLC in 2023 and serves as a Client Account Director for the Chicago market, where he is responsible for account management and new business development. He brings over a decade of experience providing financial leadership and strategic advisory support to organizations navigating growth, complexity, and transformation.
Steve has spent his career helping organizations strengthen finance and accounting functions to better support revenue growth, scalability, and executive decision-making. His work centers on improving financial visibility, modernizing systems, and aligning processes across teams so organizations can operate more effectively as they grow and evolve.
A systems-focused problem solver, Steve is passionate about leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to modernize finance operations. He partners cross-functionally across finance, operations, and technology teams to streamline processes, improve data quality, and ensure finance functions are built to support both near-term execution and long-term value creation.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from University of Missouri and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Gies College of Business – University of Illinois. A native of Elmhurst, Illinois, he now lives in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood and enjoys golf, cooking, and supporting Chicago sports teams. Steve takes pride in being a dependable, thoughtful partner to his clients.
