Vice President Human Capital, The DLC Group
Sara Vigeland has over 11 years of experience in Finance and Accounting recruiting, supporting organizations that have ranged in size from the Fortune 1000 to early stage startups. Her ability to recruit the best and most qualified F&A professionals, regardless of level, has helped DLC grow tremendously. Prior to joining DLC, Sara spent five years at Tatum where she held the position of National Recruiting Director supporting the CFO. Before Tatum, she held senior recruiting roles at Corporate DNA, Deloitte, Bank of America and Ameriquest Capital Corporation. Sara holds a dual Bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine in Social Psychology and Criminal Law.
Client Services Director, Los Angeles
Zak Danielson initially joined DLC in 2015 as an Accounting Consultant and now serves as a Client Services Director for the Los Angeles market. He is responsible for account management and new business development.
Zak has over 17 years of finance and accounting consulting and private industry experience and has provided accounting solutions to clients throughout the Los Angeles market. He began his career at KPMG NYC where he serviced clients in both Banking and Advertising industries. Following KPMG, Zak spent time working as Corporate Controller for Tory Burch (NY), Manager of Financial Reporting for the Neiman Marcus Group (TX) and ultimately landed back in Los Angeles working for Verifone Media in the role of Director of Finance within their new media division.
Zak’s extensive background, in both public accounting and private industry, positions him well to be of service to his clients and to be a meaningful contributor to the Los Angeles DLC practice.
Zak earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Hunter College in New York City. He is a Certified Public Accountant and when he’s not working, he’s spending time with his family and exploring his West LA neighborhood.
Client Services Director, Los Angeles
Jason Hodge, Client Services Director, joined DLC in 2017. He is responsible for building new relationships with local hiring managers as well as account management.
Jason has over 7 years of business development and client management experience. He began his career with Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor, serving both businesses and individuals. Following Merrill Lynch, he joined an International Fortune 500 staffing firm where he focused on the recruitment and successful placement of accounting and finance professionals in the San Fernando Valley.
Throughout his career Jason has been able to develop a thorough understanding of his client’s needs and present that client with an available solution. His recruiting experience helps him attract great talent and then match that talent with his client’s needs.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts in Operations and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Client Services Director, San Francisco
Ayrie Manthey, Client Services Director for the San Francisco Bay Area market, brings over five years of experience in sales business development roles to our team. Most recently Ayrie has worked as an Account Manager for several technology firms in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to her recent sales experience, Ayrie spent several years with DLC as a Corporate Recruiter, hiring Big 4 CPAs and MBAs from the top schools, all with accounting and finance experience at Fortune 1000 companies. Ayrie is originally from Wisconsin and holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending time outdoors.
Client Services Director, Chicago
Steve Newman joined DLC in January, 2018 and serves as Client Services Director for the Chicago market. He is responsible for account management and new business development.
Steve has over 10 years of experience providing accounting and finance consulting solutions to clients ranging from small and mid-size businesses to public and private equity owned portfolio companies. His inception in the industry was at GarelliWong / Jackson Wabash where he helped scale the Chicago practice and grow their market share. From there, Steve reunited with his fellow colleagues to launch Marco & Associates, a startup accounting and finance boutique firm. His startup and business development experience and ability to build a brand caught the attention of Parker Lynch Consulting. Prior to joining DLC, Steve launched their accounting and finance consulting practice and built their subsequent business infrastructure including establishing the go-to market strategy as the first employee. He takes significant pride in uncovering client challenges and implementing solutions.
Steve’s extensive expertise in the accounting and finance industry positions him well for DLC’s continued growth in the Chicago market. Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University with an emphasis on sales and entrepreneurship. He is an active member of Chicago’s Financial Executives International (FEI) networking group. Steve and his family live in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. When he is not working, he enjoys watching Chicago sports and trying out new grilling recipes.
Client Services Director, Chicago
Sean Hastings joined DLC in February 2019, and serves as Client Services Director for the Chicago market. He is responsible for account management and new business development.
Sean has over 18 years of experience providing accounting and finance consulting, interim and permanent placement solutions to public and private clients in the Chicago area. Sean began his career at Arthur Andersen as a consultant. Since then Sean has held sales leadership positions for consulting, interim, and permanent placement firms in Chicago.
Sean earned his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He lives in Naperville with two active boys and in his spare time can be found running obstacle course races.
Managing Director, Los Angeles
Dak Gilinsky joined DLC in January 2018 as Managing Director for the Los Angeles market. In this role he oversees the Los Angeles DLC Sales team and is responsible for account management, business development, talent acquisition and retention for the consultant bench and internal roles, as well as overall management of market performance. Dak applies a broad knowledge of various industries and functions developed during his 9+ years in professional services, including management consulting, finance and accounting, and legal. He knows the LA market intimately, and has served many of the market’s top companies.
Previously, Dak helped to launch the Los Angeles office of Axiom, a leading provider of legal services. He then spent two years in management consulting, serving F-100 technology clients. In 2013, he was tasked with launching the Business Talent Group’s West Coast consulting practice. During his time with BTG Dak established relationships with corporate development, strategy, and operations groups at 50+ Fortune 1000 clients along the West Coast, driving rapid growth with high client satisfaction.
Dak is a SoCal native, a lover of all things outdoors and a frequent traveler. He received his BA/BS from UC Berkeley (with honors) and pursued additional accounting and finance education at UCLA.
Managing Director, Chicago
Marcia joined DLC in 2006 and now serves as Managing Director for the Chicago market, where she is responsible for new business development, talent acquisition, talent retention and the overall operations of DLC’s Chicago office. She’d previously served as Client Account Director, where her responsibilities included consulting as well as sourcing, managing and leading client engagements. She has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience working with both Fortune 500 and privately held businesses concentrated in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, consumer and industrial products, education, insurance and financial services. Marcia is a CPA and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Her consulting focus has centered on acquisition integration, due diligence support, purchase accounting, carve outs and divestures, shared services, FP&A, business unit reporting and project management.
Prior to joining DLC, Marcia was Chief Accounting Officer for a GTCR portfolio company where she led the finance and accounting integration related to the purchase of 11 businesses. Marcia began her career in audit at Arthur Andersen and also held finance positions at Kraft Foods and Harley-Davidson Financial Services.
She received her Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, her Masters of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University and her Bachelors degree from DePauw University.
Managing Director, Orange County
Marty McKeever joined DLC in 2003 and serves as the Managing Director of the Orange County, CA market where he is responsible for account management, new business development, talent acquisition and retention, as well as overall management of market performance.
Prior to joining DLC, Marty had 19 years of progressive finance and accounting experience in such companies as Capital Group, Disney and Fluor, Inc.
Marty received his Bachelors in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
